100 Strong Women

One major part of the WWII Memorial went under-funded and was therefore uncompleted, that of Rosie the Riveter, recognizing the sacrifice and hard work women did at home during the war. To  continue to honor the sacrifice and achievements of women in our community, the 100 Strong Women campaign was born in 2007 to raise funds for the completion of this part of the Memorial, but also to raise awareness about the contributions women make to our community and to develop the next generation of “Strong Women”.
